OFFICIAL OPENING OF CONFERENCE AND EXHIBITION AT THE BURNIE REGIONAL ART GALLERY.
Civic Reception and Official Opening of Exhibition at
the Burnie Regional Art Gallery.
Delegates will be officially welcomed to the City by
the Mayor of Burnie and the President of the World
Federation of Miniaturists.
You will also get a chance to meet our international
guest artists.
For dinner this evening, delegates will be encouraged
to explore the many culinary establishments Burnie
has to offer. Inside your delegate welcome pack
you will find a list of all the eating establishments
participating in the conference. There’s something
for every taste. Get a group of friends together and
discover what ‘Eating Out Burnie Style’ means. Don’t
forget to sample our acclaimed Tasmanian wines and
sparkling ales.

Lunch - at the Emu Valley Rhododendron Gardens.
Afternoon - Studios in the Gallery - demonstrations
and displays of work by miniaturists.

MONDAY MARCH 10
Travel to Cradle Mountain World Heritage Area.
The Big Barbeque – an ‘aussie’ experience in a very
special part of the world.
In the evening join President Joan and her family at
their home on the hill at 10 Hodgman Street, Burnie.
From the front veranda of their home you will take in
views of Bass Strait, the Civic Centre Precinct and the
town and enjoy drinks and canapés prior to Eating
Out Burnie Style.
