DETAILS OF ENTRY
Entries close September 30, 2007. Participating Societies and independent members are requested to
forward lists of entries (up to 3 entries per member) and also declare any entries containing products
from a former living organism (e.g. ivory, whalebone, vellum). This will enable us to apply for the
required permits. It should also be noted that by law, sale of any work in Australia containing parts
from endangered species is not permitted.
FRAMES AND HANGING
The Gallery Director has requested that the outside frame measurement (the circumference) of any
picture does not exceed 40 inches (102 centimeters). To ensure that each picture hangs flat against
the wall the Gallery has requested that the hanging wire or string should be attached to the frame
approximately 2 inches (5 centimeters) from the top. Smaller works and paintings in gold frames will
be displayed by the Gallery in glass cases.
ENTRY FEES
A fee of Aus$25 will be charged for each work exhibited. Fees should be collected from members by
each Society and sent as a bank draft, made payable to ASMA TASMANIA INC and forwarded to the
Treasurer, Lindsay Kelly at PO Box 1027, Burnie, Tasmania 7320, Australia. Independent members of the
WFM are requested to send their fees in Aus$ to the Treasurer.
Entrants are requested to insure their work.
SELECTION OF WORK
Selection of work for the exhibition is the responsibility of each Society. Work from independent
members to be juried by a committee when they arrive at the Gallery.
RETURN FREIGHTING
Societies will be invoiced for return freight after the Exhibition has closed.
